Borrow a Textbook from the Library
The library purchases at least 1 physical copy of most required course textbooks. In addition, the Textbook Affordability Program has allowed for the purchase of some digital copies of textbooks, when available. To see if the library has the textbook you need, browse the Library Textbook Collection.
Print textbooks are available for a 4-hour loan from the Library Services Desk. Textbooks checked out within 4 hours of the library closing may be borrowed overnight and will be due back the next day within two hours of the library opening.
Textbooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be placed on hold due to high demand. An hourly late charge applies for textbooks returned late.
Find No Textbook Cost Classes
Students registering for Fall and Winter 2026 courses can now search for classes with no textbook costs in Class Search and Enroll. Simply select the "No Textbook Cost" filter from the left-hand menu when searching for classes to see what is available:

Important note regarding textbook details
We do our best to make sure this information is accurate and up to date, but course listings may not always reflect the most current details. Instructors may be added or make changes to course materials close to the start of term. Some courses may also have extra costs for things like software or equipment that aren't included in the "No Textbook Cost" designation.
