Library Instruction Program

MacEwan University Library’s instruction program is built on the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education published by the Association of College and Research Libraries.

Subject Librarians offer a range of information literacy & library research lessons and instructional materials designed to meet students' information needs, as well as course and program learning outcomes.

Customized Lessons

Your Subject Librarian can provide:

  • How to videos
  • Online guides and infographics
  • Short synchronous online lessons and research sessions
  • Research assignment design and evaluation

Note that at this time, in-person sessions are offered at the discretion of the Subject Librarian and will follow covid-19 procedures, including masking.
