Lindsey Whitson is a Health & Community Studies Librarian, working closely with faculty, staff, and students within Social Work, Child and Youth Care, and Physical Education. As librarian to kihêw waciston Indigenous Centre, she is committed to advancing decolonization through culturally responsive collections, teaching and learning, and research support that encourage and amplify Indigenous voices and knowledge systems. Lindsey also serves as the librarian for the Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre, supporting initiatives that celebrate community and promote intercultural dialogue. Through leadership roles in innovative partnerships (Interdisciplinary Dialogue, StoryWalk @ MacEwan) and strong advocacy, she strives to create inclusive, inspiring places and opportunities at MacEwan that welcome and empower our communities across and beyond campus.
