Students enrolled in distance education and online courses have the same borrowing privileges as students enrolled in on-campus programs and have additional services available for accessing materials.

Who is a Distance Student?

Distance students are enrolled in distance or online programs. For questions about free distance delivery, contact ill@macewan.ca

Your MacEwan ID Card

  • Eligible distance education students and faculty may request that library materials be mailed to their home address. You will need a MacEwan ID to request materials.
  • To set up your MacEwan ID, follow the instructions provided by MacEwan Technology Services.
  • If you need to use Library resources before your MacEwan ID is processed, please contact the Library at 780-497-5857 or 1-800-565-4824, or by email at ill@macewan.ca. Include your full name, phone number, email, and mailing address.

Your MacEwan Network ID

  • Use your MacEwan username and password to access online resources. If you do not know your MacEwan username and password, contact the Technology Support Desk via chat or in-person, or by emailing techsupport@macewan.ca.
  • You will need your Student ID number and address to receive your MacEwan Network ID or to reset your password. If you don’t know your student ID number, contact the Registrar’s Office toll-free at 1-888-497-4622.
